Servos

Aftermarket Servos will often not fit the stock servo tray or horn, keep that in mind when selecting a new Servo. Most of the times you are better off getting a kit, unless you go with one of the more adjustable servo mounts.

The most important specs for servos are Torque, Speed  and Angle and operating voltage. Torque and Speed usually increase with operating voltage, so maximum Torque and Speed is reached with the highest allowed operating voltage. Angle is the range of movement - this is usually 180°. Speed is given in the time (seconds) the servo takes to move 60°.

For comparison we will provide min/max Voltage and Speed and Torque at those voltages.

So as a rule of thumb: Lower speed is better, higher torque is better. Keep in mind that you will need better steering links with high torque, high speed servos, they will otherwise just bend the plastic ones.
